Jacksonville defensive tackle Leger Douzable has found a home with the Jaguars, but he has had a well traveled journey on his way.

In his third year in the NFL, Douzable has been in Minnesota, New York, St. Louis, Detroit, and now Jacksonville.

Douzable attended the University of Central Florida where in his final two seasons he recorded 14.5 sacks and 24.5 tackles for a loss.

He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent rookie in May of 2008. He was waived by the Vikings prior to the season and then signed to the New York Giants practice squad the next day.

He was signed to the Giants active roster on December 3, 2008 and made the opening day roster of 2009. He was waived after week one.

Douzable was then signed to the St. Louis Rams practice squad and then to the active roster. He played in 12 games with one start for the Rams in 2009 and finished with 16 tackles with five tackles for a loss and four QB pressures.

The Rams waived him in June of 2010 and the following day was claimed off of waivers by the Detroit Lions. Two months later, he was waived by the Lions and signed by the Jaguars.

Douzable has played in all eight games this season and has five tackles.
